Ladies as Victims in the Media   â One intriguing part of homicide is how it is depicted in various types of media. Specifically the manner in which female homicide casualties have been depicted after some time mirrors the accepted practices of the period. Concentrating in transit killed females were depicted in different types of media, starting in the late eighteenth century in the United States and closure with the current day portrayals in film it is apparent that a conventional style of depicting dead ladies has kept on swarming society through the twentieth century.  Stories, either anecdotal or dependent on genuine occasions, started around 1800 depicting ladies casualties as youthful, unmarried, excellent and honest. Their demises were depicted as coming about because of lost honest, by and large through pre-marriage sexual contact. The depictions of the dead bodies were realistic and sometimes suggestive in nature.
